My Muppy has what sounds like the same scar, right along the spine, right side of the blade, just a few black nicks in the steel. Strange coincidence.

Weird, Hey Dan, just curious was the scarring on the spine of the Muppy something that happened during manufacture? I thought the guy I had bought it from had BSed his Ebay description, but now Tundra has me wondering.

That would explain the mysterious serial number thing with Jeff's and Mine, unless I'm just flat out wrong (likely, lol)
