No offence intended Big Dog,I know the cordwrapped handles have been working for the Japs for a few years now, but would you sell some without the cordwrap for those that would like to DIY some micarta,G10 or even wood handles?
Heck,I'd pay full price for the option of naked handles.

Dan, do you always purchase a new vise everytime you test a large knife/sword? I guess it can be hard on tools when you're testing the toughest knives on the planet. I'll bet that vise is garbage now.

This vice did pretty well (since it was new)...it has a few more test left in it. The last one broke...the one jaw exploded. That was a little exciting with all the shards of steel flying. Knife = 1 Vice = 0

Man, that does ave some serious bend! Thanks for getting the Yard a sword of out own!

The most impressive part is that the sword comes back up with only a small bend in it... still usable. It is very clear in the video. I will try to get it posted this week. The Sword should be up in the shopping cart in the next few days
