I like the Scrapizashi's design a whole lot better than the Waki's. Honestly, who doesn't like an actual cross-guard?

I couldn't get a justification for the Waki's crescent-moon pommel, nor could I get a response to inquiries about whether they'd remove those points at the shop (which I took to be a "No"). I couldn't stand them, nor could I convince myself to pay $450+ (after shipping) for a Waki when the first thing I'd have to do was clamp it in a vice and take a grinder to it.

I've always hated that half moon also, I never removed it cause they said awhile back that it was there for a reason, but that reason never surfaced

I understand the addiction but always struggle to understand buying multiples of the same knife when they are covered for life anyway ?

I remember that thread over on BladeForums; that's one of those secrets I'll never understand. If it's something really cool, then announcing what it is would increase Waki demand (while you're selling them), or why mention it at all if it's lame? Months after the fact, it just makes you wonder if the product in question will turn out to be vaporware.

I like the Scizzy design as well.
I sure hope that the OD green handle it still available. I like it slightly better than the straight black.
