Rob, that's a classic example of "Superior Performance to Price Ratio"! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Impressive video. I can't believe that not only didn't it break while bending, but that it returned to within 20 deg or so of straight again. I've no doubt that you could straighten it completely and put it into service again. Awesome.

I was just going to stick with my Rodent Waki, but I may have to reconsider one of these little beauties!

That sword could still be used, although it would cut on a curve <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />

I may have said this but that sword was bent more than 180 degrees four separate times and it still came back. We actually tried to break it with no luck. I am not saying it cant be done but we gave up when we figured that most users would not go this far <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif" alt="" />

My Scizzy has arrived at my parents home in Colorado. Shortly it will be sent to Mashed Cat for kydex pants. I was going to go with leather for the silence factor which is very important for modern ninjas. However every leather object I own (belts, watches) continually grow mold in this moist Costa Rican air. So kydex it is. Pics will follow once we are united in November.

I love it! I just wish the background commentary was easier to hear. Sounds like you and Jerry were relatively impressed with it. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

To say the least. We were blown away by its performance. Bending anything that far that is hardened without breaking or at least having some kind of damage is unreal. Beating a cement block, chopping wood, water bottles and chopping another steel sword should have had some effect but it kept taking what we feed it. There was no resharpening or stropping for these test...same edge for all. We both thought it would be a performer but the surprise was in how much abuse this blade took and it continued to out performed even our expectations.

It was also a blast to use and I love delivering on the Performance to Price Ratio...kind of my thing <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

Thanks Dan,
You do deliver on the price vs performance ratio!

Dan

I was cringing at the thought of the shrapnel if a normal piece of hardened steel was treated that way. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" />

You just cannot beat the fun and functionality of this blade.

By the way keep an eye open for the next Blade magazine...due out in early November. It will feature a two full page ad and a picture from our own Dog "Tedwca" ...very cool
