I think that this would be a really good compact blade to add to a BOB or JUST IN CASE I need it kit. It IS compact and Pinky said it chops like the DF, what a good combo!

She said she is happy to be anywhere I am. She also is outdoorsy like me and ready to explore the nature there.

Probably the wrong thread to post that in. I'll erase in a sec.

Hey Pinky, have you or anyone you know of ever used it as a skinner?

No I don't. I'm sure it could be done, but probably isn't the best tool for the job since it's pretty front heavy. The fact that JJ can skin a tadpole with it is AMAZING.

Actually I said SOD, not DF. But yes, it'll be great for a BOB or "Just in case" kit, one of the reasons why I always have it in my car trunk.

I still can't wrap myself around the Ratchet. Now a Swamp Axe--or better a Yard Axe would be great!
