In Dan's video it looks like the Scrapivore is sharpened on one side only. Dan also made a comment about a left hand version so I assume this means it is indeed sharpened on one side only?

My interpretation was that the left hand version applied the "Prybar" grind on the opposite side, such that when held by a left handed person, the blade faces away from the palm.

I just watched the video again, and think my eyes are playing tricks on me . Its easy to get that glossed over - starry eyed thing going when watching someone else play with new steel.

Arch, pause it when Josh flips the scrapivore over & starts prying, you can see the edge as he is moving it up & down.

Gary - I think Dan covered all the bases. The Scrapivore will be a GREAT pairing with a larger knife; I plan on making a couple of piggy-back sheaths for mine!

Tom - I was wondering mostly because of the left hand comment. Ish's reply makes sense.
I had a CRKT folder with a "wedge ground" (correct term???) blade once, and actually liked the grind because it took 1/2 as long to sharpen .

Always wondered why the Sigs have a bolt latch like a 10/22 / AK and the likes.
You have a good looking setup there! I'm jealous...I got the opportunity to be a keyboard commando today, and I must say, I'm darn good at it
EDIT: wait a minute...is that a Sig? I think I'm seeing things..

Ish - Sig556 and a Ruger Mk3.
Myke - I freaking LOVE my Ruger. I've had several MkII's in the past, but like the mag release on this MkIII better. They have all been superbly accurate, and reliable. I wish I had my stainless MkII Competition Target models back, but this blued MkIII Target is equal in "practical accuracy". I was hitting empty shotgun shells at 25 yards in a standing isosceles this morning.

Ish - its not an AR type rifle, and AR parts are not compatible.
Ir - thanks. They're awesome rifles.

Ish - clarification.....some parts are compatible (buttstock, flash suppressor, rear sight after you replace the front sight).
