Just a reminder of rule 10:
10.No digital editing/changing pictures of Bussekin knives.
I think the black and orange combination does look very nice, though. I don't know exactly what the reason is for rule 10, but there it is. Thanks for pointing this out Vic! Digital editing/changing almost cost us the S5-LE in Infi. When someone changed a picture that the Busses had posted it was NOT appreciated! Hence the rule, so that we all stay out of trouble. Hmm, if I remember correctly, it wasn't a modified image, but an image that was not supposed to be public that someone hacked from Dan's photo account. The digital rule was implemented to prevent claims of copyright infringement. Kinda like movie or book publishers will not look at scripts or manuscripts that are not requested. Otherwise the creator can say they showed them the idea and then two years later used the idea without crediting or compensating them for their work. It's basically a CYA type thing. Yeah, I think the INFI S5 image I posted was real, but had been stolen from private Busse photo files (not by me). I think you are right, Ted. It is a legal CYA thing.
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Well Randy, we figure that when you're not posting while at work -- you're sleeping!

I went for Yes, Orange, No Choil.
I would, however, consider other configurations.
The Orange is an awesome idea though.

I know DuraCoat has been used successfully on firearms, and seems to get good reviews regarding it's durability for non-metallic parts. I'm curious how it might perform on Res-C. In a quick search...note DuraCoat has recently come out with Blaze Orange http://www.lauerweaponry.com/item-detail...rtype=DuraLaser

I see that this thread has been resurrected with Tom's blessing, so it must be OK. Vic, I just want to point out that I asked Tom if it was OK to repost this thread before doing so, I don't want to run afoul of the rules on the board. This is just such a great idea for a knife that regardless of who first brought it to light, I think it deserves to get a chance. It worked for the Scrapizashi 10.No digital editing/changing pictures of Bussekin knives.
I think the black and orange combination does look very nice, though. I don't know exactly what the reason is for rule 10, but there it is. I completely agree and wish the poster would remove those pictures from his post, I do not want the possibility of this knife ended here INFI would be great, but the original offering was INFI and would be a lot more expensive than 154CM. If you have not yet tried a knife in 154CM from the Yard, give it a go, their heat treat is really nice on this steel and it looks awesome.

Nobody can be blamed for wanting a SS4 in 154CM. Those darned mudder handled knives are addictive!

Yeah, no?! Dang Vic...
Passed on the WD? Wasn't that about the time of my BWM addiction? I really like the Wiener Dog. But the Bird Dog will do. Heck I still have more mudders than those in the picture. A fellow dog is buying my stripped and convexed SS4. In truth, my Rat Trap is usually what I carry most. All I really need is one big knife and one small one. And this lamp. And the paddle ball game. And this chair. And the remote control. And that's ALL I need.
