Came home today at 2p.m. couldn't be happier. Even severe pain feels better at home. Plus... I can self medicate as long as I don't get too carried away. For NOW however... I need to cheat a bit!
Sciatica in the L2 vertebrae has my right leg in a constant state of cramp on top of the knee replacement on the same side.
Very tough this time. But enough of my girlie whining it's done and they can't take that from me!
Seriously, thanks to all of my Yard brothers for their prayers and smoke. It has been a real comfort to me not to mention picking up my spirits!
Blessings,
Dave

pain sucks but it sounds like you are doing well under the circumstances. I have never spent a day in the hospital and never broken a bone or had any severe anything. I would probably be drugged out my mind and still whining if it was me.
hang in there. when all is said and done maybe you will get a pleasant tingle in your knee whenever fine Busse steel is near. Or pretty ladies! with the new improved knee you won't have any problems going after them.

I hope the pain eases, Dave. You are in my prayers tonight.
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Dave, hang in there and think about the coming spring. You will be able to do so much more and enjoy some great things.

Much luck PoP, Perhaps it is time to acquire a Weiner to go with that Busse-knee?

Best of wishes in your recovery PoP!! Technology sure has come a long ways to assist this type of replacement...it's awesome!
