Wow- I had zero idea about that guys <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />? Does are so easy to kill here that there is no sport in it at all. Our blacktail are so small that it isn't worth killing IMO <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbdn.gif" alt="" />. I hunt trophy elk mostly with a bow. We have MANY elk within waliking distance of my house.As for the meat.........blacktail are NASTY tasting- but the Elk are acceptable. We have so much fishing- crabbing- clamming etc that one would never go hungry around these parts.Thanks for the clarification. If I drove around my town with a doe strapped to my rig I wouldn't be accepted in many places <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/paperbag.gif" alt="" />. I had no idea.
