I found some more examples.

This is the Frog for the Bayonet of an AK-47

and this is how it works with the Bayonet sheath.

There ya' go! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

One of the easiest ways to carry a blade is to just rivet a holster clip to a sheath - slips on or off your belt with ease! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I have a frog for the sheath on my beater bastard sword.

I don't think I have an actual up close pic of the frog though.

Not sure how to post pics on here. Don't see an icon like on bladeforums.

One of the main thing about sword frogs is to take the blade and cant it, so it is not hanging straight up and down. It makes for less tip drag, but can create other issues like tripping issues if you don't keep an hand on the sword grip while moving around.
