She must have really hated school,I don't blame her,I did too,so I quit & joined the Marines.
Of course I didn't have decent parents that gave a [censored] either.My hats off to you for that.

The Marines is real education. College? The one I sent to college turned into an idiot. I have no faith at all in the Orwellian indoctrination they call college. I went to college after I served in Viet Nam. My professors were morons. They were spouting the same Marxist crap I fought against. I just memorized their stupid bull sh*t and fed it back to them when required. Oh yeah, I graduated phi beta kappa, summa [censored] laude and all that. If you want an education, stay away from any university the imperial government supports. It can cause brain damage. And guess where the public school teachers come from.

I really wish I went to college, not because I think it makes you better, but in my line of work at least you get 10k more a year to start just because you have that piece of paper with you at the interview. Pretty good investment over time I would say.

Yes. Unfortunately, most employers put a lot of stock in it. For many professions it an absolute necessity. There may be some brilliant people out there who studied law, but you wouldn't hire a lawyer who never graduated from law school, even it he could ace the bar exam.

Congrats to you and your girls Vic. I think from what I have seen your guidance will serve her well. I am with you on the public schools and colleges being institutions of indoctrination. I remember dealing with it in high school over 30 years ago and it's been getting worse all the time. I think there are a few colleges out there that still believe in the values of our founding fathers, but not many.

I think if you can pass the bar you should be able to be a lawyer. Maybe reguire one semester or something.

Now, as far as MDs go...I want them to go to school and practice on dead people before they cut on me.
