What you guys DON'T know is that the pink Scrapivore actually has a 12- inch blade. I've given up on a ss4 remake, so I think a res-C handle axe would be my most wanted item from the Yard. NEVER give up! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> That said, a small hatchet with the regulator handle would be sweet <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

At first I thought a Regulator handle would be best. But now that I think about it a little more, a grip slightly smaller than the regulator size, MUDDER textured and shaped grip would be AWSOME! Talk about locking you hand onto the blade! How About it Dan, could you make us a 12-14 inch overall chopper with maybe a 4 inch curved edge? Ithink that something like that would serve a multitude of tasks rather well. I dunno...I actually like the "texture" of the Regulator and older style handles more than the Mudders. The RES-C feels more "compressed / firm" on the Mudders...which I don't think would make as good of a chopper. This is based on feel, however, and not actual mechanical testing....it would be interesting to find out if the materials are indeed the same density. I think a B11 style Scrapper Machete would be awesomeness. .1875 please. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> Not sure I'd use an Axe...depends on design I reckon. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> After thinking about it some more, You're probably right. I also like the "cushiness" of the Reg handle. The Mudders would be more prone to pass the vibration along to your hand. I just thought the mudder shape would inclease the gripiness. BUT a REG handle shaped like the mudders...... NOW we're talking.

I would beat the pee outta a good tamohawk from SYKCO, a hawkbill blade with a heavy duty spike on the back, an SR-77 handle rod and a Res-C handle in Coyote Tan, hooooooo-boy! Absolutely terrific camp tool, I would find any excuse to use it, more than I usually do with my current blades.
I would also jump all over a chopper, I have a project that requires a large chopper, but I'm not yet willing to pay secondary market prices for a DF. A primary market chopper would be just the ticket.
