I do have a comment about the AF....
What's with the new blue tiger strip uniforms? They're almost as bad as the Army's digicrap. At least the Marines nailed their latest camo.
Well, I managed to make 1/2 of our fellow Dawgs mad.

Honestly, I like all the services. We all joined knowing what we may have to face. We all serve on the same team. Our jokes are no different than the ones I dealt with in high school football. I was picked on for being the kicker, who seldom got touched during a game, but when I kicked a winning field goal ... (yes it happened a few times)

JJ, Ditto.
My father was served two tours in Vietnam with 1st Recon, and after the war left the Marines...just to join the Army a few years later. My stepfather served 32 years in the Army - dying stateside in his uniform.
The retired AF guy I work with is great, and I respect his service. A good friend of mine was Navy.

The Marines were the first to go digi. Then the Army followed with the weird blus things. Then the Navy with the blue digi so you can't see them if they fall off the ships. Then the Air Forces with whatever that is. The Army is now talking with the Marines about new camo. We shut them down and said it is "copyrighted" and they can learn from us, but can't use our camo. That's multicam. Its very effective.
Army wanted Multicam to start with, but due to Cyre's licensing requirements (ie COST) they went with the ACU pattern. Marine "Marpat" is the best woodland camo available. Multicam is the best "overall pattern" available.
I've conducted quite a few personal tests.
