You guys are killing me with this!
Jared, that blade sings to me. Love the job you did on it.

+1 Jared! I have a YardGuard instead of a yardHook, but I was amazed at just how good it felt in the hand when I first picked it up. Sweet knives for sure!

so I just scored a unused yardhook and a Buy Brown sheath!! also a mud puppy this week. I cant believe how much I love the original Res-c handles over the mudders! It is the best size and feel out of all my knives for sure! I would send in my HRLM if I could to have it put on that for sure. any way I am waiting for my buddy to get are scrapivores in and will post pics of all my Bussekin collection then. its not huge but will have 10 all together. any way what do you hook owners like the most about the hook? or use it for the most? I think I will use it the most scouting and getting tree stands ready and building ground blinds and, duck blinds brushed in. I know there is better choppers but I am always to late when they pop up and was able to score this one. The Hook is one of my favorites....but then i have a lot of fav's. I carry this one a regular basis and love the feel of this knufe A great score...Congrats Dan

The hook will do some choppin' fer ya. ![[Linked Image from i760.photobucket.com]](http://i760.photobucket.com/albums/xx242/myketheknife/020-1.jpg) And splittin' ![[Linked Image from i760.photobucket.com]](http://i760.photobucket.com/albums/xx242/myketheknife/024.jpg) And schroomin'. ![[Linked Image from i760.photobucket.com]](http://i760.photobucket.com/albums/xx242/myketheknife/029-1.jpg) I gotta get me a Yard Guard for a dedicated camp knife though. My hook is for shtf,a perfect role for it IMO.

love the yardhook. havent used them as much as I want to bit really is close to perfect for me. As much as I want a SOD I would never trade out my YH for one. I just like the way the blade on the YH works for me. ![[Linked Image from emob774.photobucket.com]](http://emob774.photobucket.com/albums/yy22/izal_601/30475b07.jpg)

I've seen very few yard or swamp knives that I haven't wanted
