Mr. D Dan,

As a new member here I understand that I will have to work to be added to the rolls as a real scrap yard dog.

I do have one request. Could you please release this new blade. I'm planning on getting married Friday and so is my Fiance. However she is starting to get a little annoyed with how much time I'm spending watching this thread (At least I'm not lurking now). I have a feeling that if I'm trying to check this page at the altar on my blackberry or on my honeymoon in some hotel lobby, I will be causing myself a lot of heartache. So with that said could you release it. So I can hurry up and give yall some money. Which brings to mind a second problem. After Friday she might want to give me her opinion on what I see as a neccesity so really you would be helping out both of us. Any ways thanks for considering this and Hello to all of the folks in the Yard.

What better way to celebrate the death of Bin Laden than with the release of a new Scrap Yard knife!! And a great way to honor the Seals...I didn't know I could admire them even more, but after yesterday I guess I can!

Hmmm...celbratory re-release of the TALI-WHACKER in INFI?

BigLap, You sir, are a master at pleading your case. I don't see how Dan can ignore your plight. New Scrapyard metal on the way!

That could be it eh, a re-release of the Tali-Whacker !

True Blue- Loyal, faithful, as in You can count on her support; she's true blue. This expression alludes to the idea of blue being the color ofconstancy, but the exact allusion is disputed. One theory holds italludes to the unchanging blue sky, another to the fastness of a bluedye that will not run. Blue has been the identifying color of variousfactions in history. In the mid-1600s the Scottish Covenanters, whopledged to uphold Presbyterianism, were called true blue (as opposed tored, the color of the royalists). In the 1800s the same term came tomean "staunchly Tory," and in America, "politically sound."

The Tali-Whacker was the first model EVER made out of SR-101 and it came along well before the inception of SWAMP RAT. It is the ONLY Busse Combat Blade made with SR-101 and a totally Sterile Resiprene C handle. The talon hole was removed as were all markings from the handle for Complete Sterility. The “coolness” of this blade was the inspiration behind Swamp Rat.
