Doc and I became....
JYD Brothers of the Clock!
I can't recommend any of the "local" sheath makers as I don't have any of their work. I have been taken aback by the visuals of Rainwalker's leather though. Pure works of art.
I prefer to make my own sheaths. I am sure they aren't as good as the pros', but it is something I can do to keep my hands busy. I just wish I could make my own knives.

Aimless, I plan on getting a Welke for my Scizzy in the near future since I will take it out for play, I mean work. Saying that, I saw a leather scabbard by Rainwalker that he did for Jackell here and it was nothing short of pure bliss and excellence.
Men you can't trust, women you can't trust, beasts you can't trust, but Bussekin steel you can trust
There might be some way to attach some kind of retaining device to the grommets and then over the guard. The azwelke sheath is nice and he was pretty quick about getting it to me, seems like it would take a bit of time to do it.
I did talk to Rainwalker yesterday and am looking at a leather sheath from him, I just need to figure out what I want and he said it takes a ton of time and he has a lot of work in line already. Very prompt response from him.
