I have this knife. Was searching the forum for some info on sheaths and the blade steel. I have seen write ups where some say 77, and others 101.
My Search-Fu is lacking, but I at least found this. So, I will order this sheath. I plan to piggyback my Scrapivore as well.
Can somebody tell me if this is 77 or 101?

I DO NOT know, but basically being nothing more than a shorter Regulator I would guess it to be Sr101 steel, same as the Regulator.

From Jerry Busse in Emergency Ganza Question!!!!!! Regulator over runs???: These are SR-101 and are through hardened. . . Regular price would be much higher on these but since there are so few of them, Dan is blowing them out at $79.95!!!!!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />
I wouldn't expect these to last very long. . . .

Nice! Wish someone had known this a little while ago. I posted a thread to ser if my 6.4" Skinny ASH would fit the sheath. I emailed the shop and was told no. Maybe it's because of the width of the ASH 1 7/8ths I believe. Oh well.
Awesome set up though! I love the piggy-backed 'vore.

Flux, I am ALMOST 100 percent sure that a blade that wide won't fit in that sheath, it would just be to wide to fit.

Thanks for the compliments.
I'll start a new thread when I get pics, but the War Dog also fits snugly in a Mora 911 sheath, which is one of the better swivel belt clip sheaths they make. Length is perfect (although pushing too hard could probably make the tip touch the bottom. The opening retains the knife on the finger guard with about the same tension as the original mora. Doesn't slip out when inverted.
So $12 for a cheap war dog sheath and you get a free carbon steel Mora <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
