I have almost 300 CD's worth of 50's and 60's music. I grew up (my music days)in the late 60's into the 80's.

I like Long Hair music a lot and I think that PINK FLOYD RULES!, The Wall and Dark Side of the Moon, I've taken MANY trips on those two albums with no more assistance than a carpeted floor. So I grew up the the Beach boys, ZZ Top, Credence and the others in that time period. Fond memories. Now days I don't listen to music and don't really watch any TV except here at work. Oh well.

Frank Who? haha. A little TO relaxed for me, along with Dino. Elvis, never really was a big fan of his except for a couple three songs maybe.

Now the others Not to bad. I kinda sorta put them into the same time period that I grew up in.

Montrose

Peace.

Ronnie montrose is one of the great underappreciated guitar players!

I also love the first two Gamma albums maybe even more that the Montrose debut.

I'm a serious metal head. Especially the technical progressive stuff. I love bands like Dream Theater and Opeth.

I'm also a working musician with several recordings out -

Lately, it has been country music for me. I don't know how it happens, but I always seem to end up marrying country girls. God bless them all. I'm an old rocker from way back, but country is what I mostly listen to nowadays.

Would you mind if my daughter played some of your stuff on her University radio show?

awesome, alot more Dogs listen to Metal than I expected!

I'm a metalhead, but my tastes are more modern, and European Metal/Black Metal/Death Metal makes up the majority of the hard stuff I listen to.

I've recently been getting into the Technical Metal Genre, Bands like Necrophagist, Meshuggah, Gorod (one of my favorites, the dissonant/harmonious quality of each guitar relative to the other is amazing!), and a prog-Metal band called Tesseract. Having learned guitar, I find I appreciate music in a different manner than I did before I learned an instrument. I noticed a lot of the bands I used to think were amazing and super technical actually kinda.... weren't . I'll listen to pretty much anything, but if it doesn't really hook me, it ends up on my zune and I never listen to it (Blind Gaurdian *cough*). The more technical the better, is my rule of thumb. If it takes some serious talent to play it, I respect that. I don't mean to disrespect the thousands of artists out there, but I wade through a lot of crap before I find something I like.

I'm definitely not limited in my tastes though, I have alot of Reggae and SKA in my collection, and DJ-Tiesto figures prominently into my techo/trance listening. I even have some Katy Perry, makes for great workout music!
Watch it Soulforged and Bright Eyes are two of my favorite songs
