What I would like to know if this is the same we got the first time around. If it is, we are seeing a change in the same blade not being re-released. I know there is releases of the same blades but there are differences, even if they are small tweaks, grinds, colors, etc.

I don't see how it could be a mistake in posting a new release of say a SY series because when they were changing the info and updating the would have to verify.

Some are saying it could be a large order that was cancelled. That would have had to be a serious large order as someone said that when they checked out they had 999 in their basket.

So, what is the deal?

I'm glad that some of those who didn't get it the last time have a chance now, but a little disappointed I wasted my time checking constantly. If it is the same what happened to "limited production", "good luck getting them". Etc.

Ilove mine but it was made to sound limited, unless these are a different grade or model, but I don't think so.

It is abuisness and I want them to sell as much as they can, and I support them still 100 percent but kinda feel misled a bit.

But I'm shallow so I'm over it now <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

@Sar5: I understand your feeling <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> the limited is now not as limited anymore <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

well, the 4th does celebrate the Declaration of Independence, which is also the beginning of a war...

I too was originally a bit disillusioned to see it up again, Sar5. But then I placed an order, and got over it. Let's see how long it stays up. I too am guessing canceled order though. Maybe economic sabotage? Some folk spent more than they thought they would at Blade and it's nowhere near April 1st.

Also, I highly doubt it would be any different than our current war dogs, as the picture on the store site (front page and Wrd Order page) shows the War Dog we all know and love. I wondered why that picture was up for so long. Now we know why?

An official post would be most welcome and enlightening.

I suspect Dan was being conservative when he set the original number of War Dogs he was going to sell. After building all that were ordered, he probably saw he had enough material to make X number more, so they opened up the orders again. All conjecture on my part, but that's what I think happened.

As far as the War Dog's...The crew was super busy getting ready for Blade Show.
We will resume production next week and will get the orders out as soon as we can.

I wouldn't worry too much about it being less limited/more common...I imagine the WD will go the way of the muk...not enough to go around and folks pleading for more in the months and years ahead.

Yup, don't worry about being a limited (sort of) run but being a GREAT using blade. The more I play with mine the better I like it. It just feels so good in the hand.
