For those dogs that feel they need some more Busse kin steel right away, the Ratmandu is back in the Swamp Rat store.

I remember reading a post from Eric at the swamp that the rmd was going on semi-permament status. Part of the new marketing plan. He intended to restore stock after blade. Looks like that day has come!

thanks for the headsup. If I didn't own one already, I would get one cuz I love that little knife.

Thanks for posting the heads up, I think I'm going to have to wait for a slightly smaller blade tho...

That is good to hear. My RMD is my favorite 5" blade at the moment. If you don't have one, go get one.

Lets say it has crossed my mind. BUT, it is over a 100 degrees every day for a while. Today it was 94 by 10 in the morning. If we get lucky and get a cool down I will do a comparison and enjoy some outside time. You guys living up north have me jealous right now!

RMD is my favorite as well. But I got my War Dog in the mail today, so we'll see if that changes anytime soon. RN, I'll try to get some pics tomorrow if no one has any already made.

I also LOVE my RMD!! It replaced my ESEE 4.
Now I have an HRLM on the way.
The handle shape and ergos are awesome!!
When I get my BB sheath I'll be able to carry it and give more love and beatings.

stjones, I love the crash ax! How long is the handle on that sucker? More of a large hatchet or small ax?
