It is within my MOS, but it is considered an independent billet.

Oh hey, I saw a short interview the other night on FOX with the Marine Corps Commandant. She sounded really impressive.

Now I could, once again be mistaken, but I thought they said she was the Commandant.

I always knew you chairmen had trouble differentiating the sexes. I guess it isn't against the don't ask don't tell policy when Skunk's defence is, I can't tell the difference.

She was just a Marine General? Well either way, she still sounded impressive!

Well, guys, I have been absent to the forums somewhat during leave and checking into the new command. I am almost settled into Salt Lake City as a home, but the new job will take some adapting. Apparently I am responsible for a tenth of the U.S. continental land. I will be doing the marketing and public affairs for 370,000 square miles of Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, Nevada and Oregon.

I will be traversing this area in this thing (well, one just like it, I just haven't taken a pic of mine yet).

My sergeant major handed me a set keys the first day on the new job. Then, he showed me the ride. So far so good. Then he showed me the warehouse behind our command post. This thing is huge (will fit about 5 large buses) and apparently I am responsible for everything in it. So much for this being a desk job. Anybody need a t-shirt? Yes it is full of Marine Corps marketing scwhagg.

I actually locked on a place for my recruiters to set up a booth at a couple of concerts today. Kenny Chessney and some other famous country singer. Can't remember since I am not a fan. I am working on a Sublime concert for next month.

Well, that is my update in life. I know you wanted to read about it since you miss me so much.

How very cool

Congrats on the new job

Do us proud like you always do

Dan
