Tom & Dan - I appreciate the encouragement. I've been a little frustrated with my situation for the past couple of days, but it genuinely helps to know you all care!
As a side....
I did something I said I wouldn't do anymore. I ended up ordered FOUR 511's, because my wife liked them (she prefers the older handle style to the newer mudder and I won't let her use my safe-queen DM).
I'm excited about getting the new steel - its something to look forward to.

Clarification:
I stated in another thread that I wouldn't buy more than 1, 2 or 3 of any design unless it could supplant a design in my survival gear.
My wife's survival gear will be receiving the 511's.

I broke down and bought one too! My problem isn't a wife or girlfriend lol it's my Mom <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> everytime I get home from work and tear open my box and pull out a chunk of steel I get "another one?!" I just have to act like I can't heat anymore. Disclaimer: ( I havnt broken the age of 20 so yes I live with my parents still <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> )

Mention that you've found a "normal masculine hobby that is clean and traditional/old fashioned". If that doesn't work mention you could spend 8-12 hours a day online buying video games and pretending to kill people on them...or worse <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
