Great job, could they have re-coated it any currently offered color?

And did they take the handle off and recoat the tang too?

They will only recoat the blade in the original color and I'm not sure if they take the handle off but I suspect they don't coat under the handle at all.

We do remove the handles on a re-coat to insure that the tang is coated the same as the original knife was done.

Those look real nice. Sounds like Scrapyard is a real pleasure to deal with. Basically, the golden rule. The more I read, the larger my wish list gets.
I had to look up the Scrapper 6 as it keeps popping up in my reading. Apparently a heck of a blade. Now I'm starting to regret joining the forum! (Domino eyes his Penny Jar).

Thanks for sharing...even though it will cost me money

Domino, gonna take more than pennies bro

looks great ive been thinking about sending my S6 in to get it recoated just done know if i want to be without my knife for a extended amount of time how long from the day you shipped it out did it come back to you. Domino trust me its gonna take more than pennies and if thats what you got you better start counting and aquire alot more of them and quick if you dont have a SY knife or if you do youll never find a better knife or a more friendly group of guys to hang out with here on the forum.

Dan, I am curious, when you remove the handles for a re-coat are you able to re-attach them or do you have to put new handles on?
