I prefer the War Dog handle over the majority of the blades I have had with the mudders. In fact, I am getting rid of all my mudders except the BDLE since it is so used and loved.

I saw that sumo....I have been eyeing the S5le.

I love the WarDog handle. Probably my favorite so far.

I don't know if it's because I've got soft hands or what, but the feel of he wardog as gotten SO much better since I rounded off the butt. To me it transitions from reverse to froward grip so much better and just sits in my hand better. The rounded butt seems to settle into the "pocket" of my hand so much better now.

The mudders do feel good but I am a little different than most people in the way I hold a blade due to a broken hand (couple different times, 13 bones broke, pins) so I might be a little different in my observation. I love the War Dog handle, fills the hand just right in my opinion.

The WD handle works perfectly for that blade. I would be interested in seeing what it would look like on the other blades.

The Wardog handle isn't really anything special. Just a fairly straightforward NON FANCY handle. BUT something about it makes it work FANTASTICALLY and the feel is just unbelievable. I don't know what DAN did to get the Elves to dream this up for him, but what ever it was, it worked! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

To me, this is just possibly Dan's BEST all around do everything blade.
