My Chopweiler filled that niche too [censored] well, I don't think I'll ever need another knife that size ever !!! Pitman, while I agree in theory, it doesn't mean I probably won't get one <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> I've wanted an SOD to "round out the collection" but I think the 711 will do that just fine (although in reality, the Chopweiler is probably the only one I'll use...maybe I should just save and get another one of those <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> )

My SFNO LE, .22 ASH, BJ, NMSFNO & others all fill my need for a 7" blade. I'm still excited to see what the price is and all the happy dogs with new steal posting user pics!

No doubt, the 711 is a knife I am waiting on. Of all the '11 series knives, the 711 is the one I want the most.
Having only one pancake, leaves more room for bacon!

Ok I don't understand why everyone is waiting for the 711!
Yes sometimes the cashier closes for a few minutes to use the bathroom but 711 is open 24hours a day. This summer their Slurpies have been wonderful on a hot day and I prefer the beverage selection over the CircleK.
Oh and the hotdogs!
Again no need to wait for the 711 go there anytime. And those complaining about not having any money, they have lots of stuff under 99cents!!! Exactly my thoughts LOL Dan

I think the regulator's fill the 7" knife slot very well. The yard is due for the big one!
That Magnum Regulator would still be my grail though.
