Hello all. I've got a bunch of blades I want to convex, and have no work space for a belt-sander. I found this little contraption that I could potentially take out back & use on my porch.

Has anyone ever used the Work Sharp knife Sharpener? Looks like it might be pretty handy for a lazy guy like me.

Wow thats pretty slick looking. Do they have a variety belt available? I going to check that out myself when I get the chance.

Yeah. It comes with a couple sets of belts in several different grits I think. They probably have other grits too.

Someone here some time ago said they had one but didn't like it. Someone else more recent either had one and really likes or was going to get one, I don't remember which. You might do a search for the name and see what comes up.

I don't think you gotta worry Ryan. You never said anything in your post about promoting the product nor were you putting up a good sale price. You were just referencing a machine some others may not know about. I thought about one, but just figured power tools would just speed up my destructive tendency. Hand sharpening is therapeutic for me since I don't get to use my blades much.

I dont think it will sharpen the tips very well? It would be nice if it did work good though. Thanks for the link!

I am looking at getting a fours grits of 6inch DMT diamond sharpening stones.

I've been thinking about getting the DMT stones as well, but I'd have a tough time sharpening a convex edge on a diamond stone.
