Oh yeah, she has been sick the last 3 days but wouldn't let her son know about it, which really tore me up.

Patty sounds like a real giving woman, i was lucky in that both my grandmothers were like that.
But with looking back i wish that they could have been a little more selfish at times

She is Bill and I also wish that she would think of her health more than she does. I am afraid I may one day loose her because of that. And if it does happen, all bets are off. Folks WILL know how they treated her. And I'm talking about her family. All they have ever done is take take take from her with no regard for her feelings.

I hear ya. I've ripped into my own mother more than once for dissing Patty. I have told Mom more than twice about certain things. She just keeps doing it until I get fed up. This last time she still hasn't spoken to me for 3 weeks. As you say, Their problem, not mine.

Funny my wife is the second oldest but she pretty much raised her three younger siblings.
Her dad normally worked in camp and her mom was usually in hospital or sick.

Her family does the same, take, take, take and treat her like s%!t.

Pretty much Patty's story. She is the second oldest as well. The Oldest left home to live with grandma and grandpa (her choice) when she was I think 12. Growing up Patty's mother would Hide certain foods that she (her mom) liked from the kids. AND in the summer at times would lock the door so they couldn't get in to bother her when she was "Relaxing"! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" /> That just ain't right!
