I hear what you're saying about not being able to sleep. I'm that way most of the time. I will FINALLY fall asleep then keep waking up, tossing and turning falling asleep again, repeat. Over and over again.

My dogs sleep on the bed with me. No biggie. But when my brother slams his truck door, they go from sleep to I'M GONNA KILL SOMETHING in about .5 seconds! And usually, mind you, the one sleeping by my head is the loudest!

There's been a couple times when Penny Has done that, she has a high pitched bark.

The one in my avatar will go absolutely ballistic in a heartbeat. She'll scare me to death, then she can lay back down and go back to sleep while I'm trying to decide if I'm having a heart attack or not.

Years ago western made two sizes that I really liked. Gave the one I had to a girlfriend. CS makes some good ones, or at least used to.

I'd love to see one from the Yard, but I figure that enough places ban double edge knives that it would limit the market somewhat.
