The Stand was my first, I found it in an abandoned locker at work ( back when I worked at publix) missing the front cover, I still may have it somewhere

I should be getting my Chuddy bear leather for my zilla in the next week of so, and I'm thinking about changing the handle out, I got some STUNNING redwood Burl slabs while they where still on sale from Burl source, can't decide if I want to take it on or not

There are two books I read when I was in Grade school that I still have. One is called Alas Babylon and the other is 2210AD (I think)

Yeah, same type, but this stuff has more character to it, I'll post a pic, but this is it's raw state, no sanding or sealer,

The 2250 book is fictional fictional. World decay after Nuclear destruction, Mutant animals and some people have "Powers" and can communicate with animals, yada yada yada.

It's actually a little darker than it looks, with more of a brown hue, the iPad camera kind of washes everything out

Oh man, that DOES have some nice figuring to it. Personally I don't like stabilized woods. To me they feel like a rock, so hard and unyielding and will break just like a rock cracking off.
