It happens more there than here. We usualy get a couple of heavy snows a year and then a foot or so here and there. 3 feet of snow will shut it down for a day or two then back to normal.

I just saw where they are expecting another 8 inches of snow today. That should make the ski resort pretty happy.

About a month, month and a half early. We usually get the first good snow on OCT 31st here and the ski resorts open mid November. One opened yesterday which is rare.
