Bill, you may or may not know a lot about the Bible, but and this is probably going to sound WAY over simplified, the bible is about being a good person. How know what a good person is, how to get there and how to STAY there. It is also a history book. If you started studying the Bible I suspect you would find yourself knowing more about it than you thought, as far as HOW WE SHOULD LIVE OUR LIVES, if nothing else.

I do have to say that imo you are an example of a good Christian.
You have your beliefs, you share them willingly, but you do not treat others any less worthy when they do not share your beliefs.
