I would love to hit the Creek someday. But living in OK and no extra funds makes trips hard LOL.

I don't know if you guys are The Walking Dead fans but the new series starts this sunday. Looking forward to this season. Very rarely do I get caught up in a series but I really like this one and the one Starz had on called Torchwood.

We had some rain and we got around 4" in a couple days but from the looks of the ponds and waterways you would no really know it. This is the driest summer I have seen. More or less in a burn ban since Feb. I want to go camping but a fire is half the fun. Not right now though. We are finally getting in the high 70 and mid 80s temp and bow season has been going on for 12 days. Go figure.

We got a few inches the other day. But it was in the low 60's today. I am looking forward to the Walking dead. to bad its one when I'm working and I don't have a DVR.

Yeah, quite a few people I know are going but are getting smaller does. I may hit it at fall break next week just to get out. Guess I really don't need a fire with the MRE heaters LOL.

Two nights ago a hunter asked if he could cross over into my pasture to get a deer he had shot with an arrow and ran onto my land. I said "sure", and my neighbor from down the road helped him load it onto his truck. It was a NICE 10 pointer! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" /> He showed me a few pictures taken with his game camera placed in the field next to me...there's some nice ones alright! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />
