I've used the jig/rat tail as well. Then I went to the pink ceramic sharpener that Harbor Freight sells. I thought it was doing a good job, but .... and I also have to take down the lead tabs which I do with a normal bench grinder. I think maybe I just did it too many times. I used to cut 7 full cords of wood per year when I lived in New Hampshire. That was a few moons ago!

Morning everyone. Just a driveby here, have an appointment with the chiropractor in a little while. Hope he can do something about this pinched nerve in my neck, its getting worse and I'm hurting. Had to take a Vicodin last night just so I could stand to lay down.

Yes it has! I haven't paid a lot of attention to the DC this weekend, had some stuff going on. Not working tonight either, can't work while on pain meds. Hoping to be able to go back tomorrow night though.
