I was awake all night last night over this neck and shoulder thing. All I had to do was stare out the window or at the ceiling.

I got hit in the arm once with a baseball bat. I was playing catcher and got too close to the hitter. This is like that, but constant.

Sounds like back when I almost broke my neck (maybe did fracture it). And for at least 6-8 months I couldn't turn my neck to the left with out excruciating pain. Neck still bothers me sometimes.

Doesn't sound like fun. Occasionally my shoulder will talk to me when a weather front is moving through but thankfully not often. But it doesn't feel like getting hit with a bat. More like getting stabbed with a hot blade.
