It's gonna have to. I can't afford $50 per visit, and he wants me to come every day for at least a week.

It IS helping, but I just can't keep going because of the cost. And thank God my insurance covers it, because there's no way I could pay for it if the insurance didn't.

A lot of times insurance companies seem like so much of a ripoff. It just ain't right!

The place where my wife works, if she got their insurance she wouldn't bring home enough to pay for her gas to drive back and forth. If I put her on mine, there's no way we'd have enough to pay the bills. Mine's paid by the county, but to add her and my son would be nearly one of my paychecks per month.

We have a nurse practicioner here that will see you for $39, no insurance needed. Walk-in's only. That's what she does if she needs to see the doc.

Oh man, that sucks! But at least there is someone that she can see.

Yeah, that nurse is a Godsend. There would be hundreds, maybe thousands around without access to a doctor if she closed down.

She runs a bare bones clinic. No extra staff, just her, an assistant and a receptionist. Any tests are done in house, and they are extra according to her cost. Most visits are $39, but some things run on up over $100, of course. But Susan likes her, so....

Well the relief should be here pretty quickly and the Grandbaby is coming over to our house today while Mom goes to a job interview. So gonna be a busy and tiring day for Grams and Gramps.
