Hey, Skunk.... I think I recall seeing that the wife was wanting to learn photo shop right?

reason i ask is because i'll be looking at a free software called gimp fr a while. I font do any photo editing but from my understanding gimp is the free equivalent to the full version of photoshop. I won't be doing much photo editting but I've found that online tutorials are great learning tool. allows people to learn at their own pace and at times that are best for them.

even if she doesn't wan to try gimp I suggest logging onto YouTube and typing in "photoshop basic tutorials". from there she can locate any tutorials that are more towards her focus. even if you google the same stuff you will find a huge amount of tutorials that should be really helpful. with it getting cold out ill bet she could cram all winter and have it down by the spring.

Thanks for the info lazi. But she has found a tutor! Her best friends (she lives across the street and two houses down) son has moved back here from Idaho. He uses photoshop all the time and is going to teach Patty how use her copy of Elements, NOT the full photoshop. Sounds like a good deal to me!

cool... never been a good student myself. I always learn better at my own pace. I also tend to jump around subjects which makes it hard for any sort of set pace. don't think I would have patience for a tutor and seriously doubt a tutor would have much patience for me.

hope she takes to it... some cool stuff can be done.
