Actually for opening boxes and stuff, you can't beat it. That point and the curved blade really digs in.

Randy, got to the Dr's office today. Good news is he gave me some pain meds so I can sleep and some for the swelling. Bad news is there's nothing he or anyone else can do for it, other than wait it out.
