Well I saw the surgeon yesterday and he said everything looked good the bones and the new hip parts but he said that the muscles were still weak and that was what is causing my limping. He changed up my pt to another 8 weeks, with more strengthening and gait training.

I'm feeling pretty good today myself. Got some sleep for once, even if it was assisted. Still sore, but not unbearable like it has been.

I'm feeling pretty good today myself. Got some sleep for once, even if it was assisted. Still sore, but not unbearable like it has been. I think you'll find that the meds will help your body to cope and then overcome the pain and heal, I know after my survery the doctor was very adamant about taking my pain medication so that I woulx be able to take the pain and do my therapy and be able to rest easily.

Only pain meds I have had till today were ibuprofen, and I had a couple vicodins that I had left over from my my last round with my back.

Pain management is a big part of healing. I found that out a long time ago after one of my surgeries.
