I was looking at the front tires on my truck today. I'm about due a set, and it looks like sooner rather than later. Just got done putting a set on my wife's Explorer too. Then my son's truck will need a set

did the car earlier this year but they are a lot cheaper than the trucks

I'll run retreads if I can get them, I don't care. I drive 10 miles a day, tops. Usually less than that.

i have been looking at used for a month or so
looks like new will be my only real choice, there is a grand gone

my drive is about 90 miles round trip in the car, my wifes is about 25

My wife drives around 60 miles round trip, and I lucked into a set on Craigslist that fit her vehicle for $100. Cost me $30 to get them mounted, but they looked nearly new. Still had the writing in the treads.

my car tires are easy to find, but not my truck sort of an odd-ball size although i could go down to lt245/75/r16's

Hers was 245/65/R17, kinda tough to find. Mine are 235/75/R15 on my truck. If I get all four at once I'm gonna go a little bigger, maybe 10.50 or so.

235/75/r15's are common as dirt around here
