i carry the fire warden daily now. people freak out when i pull it out until they see the blade is no longer than their 3-4" folding BM'S.
SHEEPLE i have to carry a folding knife because people make a big deal out of fixed blades but it would be much easier to use if i could

I've got some buds that swap out their uppers. They basically have a couple different rifles with the same lower. one of the neato features of the AR.

Ammo and mags are cheap and readily available.
You have a lot of options. You can reach out fairly fair with one.
