you have to drive alot before the extra cost of a diesel becomes worth it
my 6.0 gas engine hauls nice but is a pig on gas

our basement (kids area) is heated by a gas fireplace

Still runs like a top and pulls like a mule, but little things are starting to go bad. Like a water leak in the cabin, and some rust on the fenders. Plus the power windows aren't working now. Stuff like that.

100 lb tank, but it'll last us all winter. We only use it for emergency heat when the power goes down.

Yeah, windows will work by hand. But they pick the most inconvienent times to fall down. So I've got them wedged up for now. It's just the gear is stripped, I ordered one the other day to put in. Wasn't but $21 for the kit.
