My dogs all sleep with me and my wife, or whichever one of us is home at the time. I think they're a little spoiled.

I can deal with a lot of crap, but I can't take seeing people abuse animals. That includes setting them out by the road. If you don't want them, take them to the pound. At least they'll get put down humanely, instead of starving or being hit by a car.

I'd rather take one out in the woods and put it down than to set it out beside the road. Of course, I'd never do that either, unless it was a biter or was dying.

that is why we named him chance it was by chance that someone found him on the side of the freeway it was by chance that i saw the posting within 5 minutes of it being posted on craigslist it was a slim chance that my daughter convinced my wife to let her get a pup

All three of mine are shelter rescues.
