take a look a the Crazy Horse M14 while you are at it. I really like the looks of the M14 with the has block front sights.

scar and the other AR style .308 rifles where all just too much $$ for me to stomach. but if I was to spend that much I'd probably be leaning towards the scar. just because my other FNH firearms have been great.
