I'm all a about a benjamin marauder right now myself. don't know if I'm going pistol or rifle just yet. the pistol is about the closest I can imagine to what JJ is getting but it ships to the front door.

That's cool and the dealers in this area don't have a big tactical selection

Bummer. I have gotten spoiled since moving here. Seems like there is a gen store/range on every corner and all of the ones I have been to have class 3 licenses. Yeah, machine guns are fun.

Paid for a Ruger Mark III 22/45 with fixed sights and threaded barrel and filed the paper work for my tax stamp for a Advanced Armament Pilot II suppressor.

That Marauder pistol is awesome. My buddy brought one on our last caping trip. It was a blast.

I have been searching the net for a removable stock like the pistol Marauder comes with. I want one for my new Ruger.

it honestly may be worth a couple hours drive. I found a place that is a pain to go to but they had a ton of guns there. more than I would have though. hidden behind a few rifles was the one I walked out with. asked the guy if he had one and he said no. they just had so many. my kind of shop.

I am actually thinking about ways to make a removable stock for the Ruger pistol. I have seen people pull of 100-200 plus yard shots with a Ruger Mark III consistently. So I know the gun can do it and a quickly removable stock would make transiting from close to medium to long easier.

I've got one of the slabsided MkII Rugers, and it shoots like a rifle anyway. If you had a way of putting a stock on one it would greatly improve accuracy. But you'll also be going into the SBR territory as well, meaning tax stamps and such to be legal, IIRC.

a stock would be easy I guess but an easy removable stock would be another thing.

Do need a tax stamp on something I make?
