a stock would be easy I guess but an easy removable stock would be another thing. The Marauder's stock snaps on and off pretty easy. I would just use the thickest kydex available.

The lightest 10/22 I have seen is 4.5 pounds though. The Ruger I ordered is 2 pounds. I could easily keep a plastic stock under a pound making the whole thing lighter than any 10/22

I thought the stock actually replaced the grip and was screwed in place. guess I should've know since I think it was mentioned that it was the same stock for the 1377. at least I think thats what I saw online. but yup... some properly molded kydex would probably do the trick.

I've got one of the slabsided MkII Rugers, and it shoots like a rifle anyway. If you had a way of putting a stock on one it would greatly improve accuracy. But you'll also be going into the SBR territory as well, meaning tax stamps and such to be legal, IIRC. Do need a tax stamp on something I make? I just checked, and it appears that adding a stock to a pistol with a barrel of less than 16 inches is indeed considered an SBR and subject to NFA regs. Some older Lugers and Walthers are exempt, but they were made before WWII

I could easily keep a plastic stock under a pound making the whole thing lighter than any 10/22 for the lightest possible package that would be perfect. I guess you could even just mold the grip and created a way to attach a wire stock o some sort. I've seen a few airguns with some really cool wire stocks. might be a good place to look for ideas.

Make a stock that supports but is only held on when you grip the gun. Then it's not attached
