I've mentioned it before but there's shotgun adapters and inserts that let you shoot a wide range of calibers with a shotgun. this is why a shotgun would be at the top o my list in a shtf world. of course I still need to order them. but I'm thinking a 500 with a .22 insert and a 9mm insert would go a long at towards the end of the world.

My survival weapons (when my new Ruger arrives) are The Mark III silenced, Glock 21 and Remmington 870 Express with spare long barrel. Glock and Shotty with breacher barrel for defense. Mark III silenced and shotty with long barrel for food. Mark III for the little stuff, and shotty for bigger stuff. A 12 gauge slug will handle everything but an elephant.

you gonna go with the Tac Sol upper for the MkIII?

I love the idea of on weapon filling many roles, but I also like the idea of weapon redundancy, well not really redundancy. If one breaks, I want aback up.

For another $300-ish... no. That is why I got the factory threaded barrel. The gun was $310. The suppressor is $325 plus $200 tax. I am not willing to pay another $300 on top of $835 to shed a few ounces.

Habe you seen any of the shots I posted from the Voightlander lens. That is $1300 lens I don't regret buying.
