It is not hard if you live in a state that doesn't try to stifle your Second Amendment rights. Takes up to 6 months to get the stamp though. The federal government is pretty slow with paper work. I know, I work for them.

I went the 500 route myself. I just like the visual up top safety. read all kinds of stuff back and forth but it seems they both has been getting the job done long enough to call it a draw. at least for my dollars.
like that you can top off shotguns. also don't plan on taking one any armed gangs. but if anybody runs up to where I'm hiding I want want them to feel it. so I like shoguns... and like JJ pointed out... if its nit and elephant then hit it with a slug and see how it feels.

I wonder what Ohio is like. And I bet you have to be 21 years of age not 18

It is quiet a bit of paper work. Signature from police chief, finger prints in duplicate, Form 4 in multiple duplicates etc etc etc etc etc, then file it with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tabacco, Firearms and Explosives and wait up to six months.

I can talk guns and knives all night long. Cameras too. Habe you seen any of the shots I posted from the Voightlander lens. That is $1300 lens I don't regret buying. I don't remember seeing any specifically from that lens.

For another $300-ish... no. That is why I got the factory threaded barrel. The gun was $310. The suppressor is $325 plus $200 tax. I am not willing to pay another $300 on top of $835 to shed a few ounces. it's the threaded with the tail on top? for $325?

The thumb safety is good but not with any kind of pistol grip stock like the speedfeeds
