I have the 22/45 fluted hunter and like it very well it dose seem to like the hyper velocity rounds better.

I changed my mind about the grips though.

I was going to get Hogue rubber grooved grips.

But, after firing a fellow gun nut's Ruger at the range yesterday, I decided to get the Majestic Arms target grips.

These things made the 22/45 feel like it was made for my hand.

Caz are you and the misses traveling or the family coming to you .

We're heading to my brother in laws and my wife's parents will also be there, only a couple miles between all of us.

My mother told me if didn't have anything nice to say then don't say anything but that never stopped me before.

Agreed. I thought the grips on this one were plastic like the rest of the receiver until I took them off just now. They are wood, but the coating made them feel plasticy.

Pie number 1 is done. Cooling it now. This is my test pie. I will test fire it tonight with the family. I will adjust the cooking time accordingly based on how this one turns out. High altitude cooking is trial an error when baking stuff.

If they were easier to clean and take apart they would get more respect than they do .

I am hoping to have cottontail rabbit for dinner tomorrow. If I don't bag one or two, I will be eating an MRE for Thanksgiving.
