Since I love old shotguns, that's mainly what I go to gun shows for now. I've seen $800 LC Smith's marked at twice that, and up. I hate greed.

Hello guys.
It seems there is a gun show every week out here in the West. Bunch o' gun nuts out here, and I love it.

Plus there are way too many $1k AR's there that were put together on Bubba's kitchen table. I can do the same thing for about half that.

Picked my wife's niece up today and she is staying at our place tonight <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> , she in her 30's it is a pain at least for me. Everytime one of my wife family comes in they seem to stay with us even though even though her parents and brother live within 3 miles of us.

My mother told me if didn't have anything nice to say then don't say anything but that never stopped me before.

I wish there were more around here, but the only gun show near me only comes about once every 4 months. Same guys travel in about two or three states and do a circuit.

You should be right at home then, right JJ? I do like things that go boom. I just ordered another red dot and my Bushnell hasn't gotten here yet. I am going to test the Bushnell TRS-25 and the Burris Fastfire II and return the one I like least. The Fastfire has to be much better to win since it is 3 times the price.

Prices around here aren't to bad, I like to look around at different stuff but move quickly since I know what I like and dislike. I might take a ride to Cabela's tomorrow.

I'd love to have a Cabela's close enough to ride to. We have a Bass Pro Shop down in Concord, about an hour or so away, but they're a little too proud of their guns to suit me. Can't even look at a pistol unless you have a permit in hand. I do, but still that bothers me a little.

I go to gun shows just to get my hands on the weapons. I seldom buy anything. I usually just order my weapons online.

Ohio has some decent shows but I can't buy handguns since I'm in WV and there's one every few weeks it just depends on the time of year.

I've never messed with a red dot scope, but I've toyed with the idea a little for one of my .22's. Just as a plinker, though. I'm not sure about hunting with one.
