I used to work with a guy that did blacksmith work on the side. It's a tough vocation.

Yeah, lot of physical work, but it looks like it can be fun at times and rewarding.

Works all done, just waiting to get off work after another another exciting (yeah right) night. Hope it stays that way though, I don't mind having something to do but sometimes for just one Dispatcher it can get overwhelming.

I know it's old news but man... I just wasn't expecting the little girl to come out of the barn! I know I almost jump outta my chair too. It was a good mid season ending.

AND you forgot to say it's good to be above ground Caz. Unless you work in a missile silo! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Never thought about saying that but I will say it is definitely good to have a job when so many people are out of work.

AMEN! We often gripe and complain about our job, boss (or bosses)the hours we have to work or MORE hours we need. But as you said Caz, it's good to have a job even though we do gripe and complain. Me, I don't really complain about my job, I am glad to have it and I DO like my job. I felt VERY fortunate to literally walk into another job BEFORE my actual Air Force retirement date.
My actual AF retirement date was March 01, 1994. I started working at the Sheriff's office the middle of January 1994 while I was on terminal leave (I had 90 days vacation/house hunting days and I took every one of them! I left my last duty station (Pope AFB, next To Ft. Bragg in Dec 1993).
